This season marks a whole decade of Words for Waiting! What began in 2017 with a handful of campus ministers in Mississippi, Alabama, and Tennessee has grown to include students, groups, alumni and other neighbors from 35 states. Over the years, our contributors have offered a total of 362 reflections on 142 different Scripture readings, in paragraphs, poetry, image, and song. Their faithfulness, honesty, and creativity have been gifts to witness as we continue to navigate these hopeful, hard, and holy days together.
Wherever you’re coming from, and whatever you’re carrying, I hope that what follows in these reflections will be meaningful to you too, as we wait and watch and work our way through the Advent and Christmas seasons ahead.
